Bob graduated from St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH with a BA in Psychology in 1985 and then graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1989 with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. Sybille is from Schweinfurt, Germany. She has a degree in education and graduated from Word of Faith Bible School in Munich, Germany. They met in Oklahoma in 1991 and were married in 1992.

Since 1989, Bob has been in full time ministry. For the first four and a half years, he itinerated nationally and internationally helping churches to build their Children's and Youth Ministries by conducting Teacher Training Seminars, Children's and Youth Crusades, and Family Services. "My goal was to help churches build ministries that help build the church", Bob said. "We saw great success with many children and youth being saved, children's and youth workers trained and encouraged and many pastors and churches catching the vision for the importance of these ministries as some of the most importance ministries that can grow their church." When married in 1992, Sybille traveled and ministered with him before moving to Washington State.

For the first four years, as children's pastors, Bob and Sybille developed and built the Children's Ministry of Covenant Celebration Church in Tacoma, Washington, where the senior pastor is Kevin Gerald. The Children's ministry grew from 300 to over 1200 children with 350 volunteer teachers and parents working on a regular basis. At present, CCC runs about 4000 in attendance on Sunday morning. The goal is 10,000 in attendance with a children's ministry of 3000. In the year 2000, a new 40,000 square foot facility will be built with theme oriented rooms and auditoriums for preschool and elementary age children.

In the fall of 1998, Bob and Sybille became the executive pastors overseeing all the children's and youth ministries at CCC, focusing on building the youth ministry called Champion Youth. The previous youth pastor stepped down and Bob and Sybille took over with about 75 teenagers. They presented the vision, recruited the adult leaders and began a successful ministry. Today, the youth runs from 350 to 400 teens on a weekly basis. "The excitement is spreading as we venture into our new facility that will house an 800 seat youth auditorium, youth activity area with games, cafe, bookstore and the like", Bob said. Bob and Sybille oversee all the operations for the children's and youth ministry, all volunteers, and a staff seven employees.

They have 3 children, Benjamin, Liesa and Stephanie. They reside in the town of Gresham, Oregon, just outside of Portland.

Bob and Sybille are known for their leadership style, their ability to organize, their success in recruiting and training leaders, their XL discipleship class, Main Event Saturday night services, Wednesday night discipleship program, camps and annual Building Champion's Conference in the fall.

In the winter of 2002 Bob and Sybille moved their family to Portland Oregon to continue their full time ministry as senior pastor of Champions Church. They brought with them the same vision that they had in Tacoma - Living to love people to Christ and building Champions for Life.
