Mission/Vision Overview

Champions Church has a purpose – Building Champions for Life!

Champions Church has a vision – We will accomplish our mission by providing a variety of ministry from large celebration services to meaningful small groups that help develop God given potential and God given gifts in relation to fulfilling the great commission of evangelism and discipleship
(Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:18).

Champions Church has a strategy –

1. Our main strategy is to represent Christ’s compassion and love as we reach out to a world that needs a personal relationship with their Father God
(1 Corinthians 13:13 and 12:31).

2. In our Sunday large group gatherings, we will develop a friendly atmosphere that has culturally relevant worship and teaching, and will not only challenge the core but cause the visitor to want to return, hungry for more. Our church will also be known for its energetic and dynamic ministry to young people.

3. Connection is essential for people to grow. In midweek small groups, people can grow in a practical usable knowledge of God’s Word. They will grow in their knowledge; wisdom and everyday walk with Jesus and develop God given relationships for life.

4. It’s our goal to help people to be successful by discovering their God given destiny and building a church where they can fulfill it on a ministry team and target ministry.

5. We want to raise Champions for Christ by teaching them to honor God everyday in word, thought and action and live a lifestyle that is pleasing to Him.

Vision of the House Highlights

Our vision is to fulfill what Jesus taught us concerning evangelism and discipleship and the building of His church. It is our goal to build a great network of churches in the Portland Metro area and beyond. “We are a church that plants churches that plants churches.” We are outward focused, impacting community, supporting missions and planting churches.

Our church is a contemporary, relevant church that does not compromise its message but is ever changing its method to reach a lost generation.

Children and teenagers are very important to God and to us. It is our goal to build a world class ministry for this next generation.

Our Sunday morning services are filled with celebration and challenging messages. Our midweek Area Fellowships are where you can really meet and connect with others. These groups are great for developing your relationship with God and others.
